In “Waldfee” (forest fairy), the paint enters from the left edge and settles across the canvas in horizontal strata: fir and May green at the bottom, a patch of luminous magenta above it, a broad band of sun yellow, and cobalt and ultramarine in the upper third. As it runs, the poured acrylic breaks into fine strands ridged with white and thins towards the right edge into veils on the pale ground.

Read like a piece of landscape tipped onto its side, the painting can be forest floor, clearing and sky at once. It lives on the tension between magenta and green, yellow and blue, and on the near-empty right half that counterbalances the dense left edge. The title names the lightness that shows between the layers, fresh as spring air.
